A Quick December Note *(and Thank You)
Erin and her family posing for a last-minute holiday photo at Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, NY
As a mom, December makes me feel like I'm on a treadmill going 100 mph. But - it's also when I take stock of the past year. This might look like a moment of quiet in the car as I run from store to store, or a few minutes to myself before one of my kid's games starts. (Notice a theme: lots of stolen moments in cars - I'm sure you parents can relate!)
But I'm also lucky because my job forces me to sit and curate and reflect. And this bleeds into all my day's moments.
This season has a way of sharpening what matters—family, memory, and the moments that quietly shape a year. I’m grateful for the people and stories I get to photograph, and for the trust so many of you place in me with images that mean a great deal.
I hope this holiday season brings you a little space to pause, gather, and reflect—however that looks for you.
Thanks to ALL of you, this year has been such a gift.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and an incredible year ahead!
